Attorney Cecilia Lee of Reno-based law firm Fletcher & Lee was recently included in The Best Lawyers in America 2022 edition for excellence in the areas of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law.
Lee began practicing law in 1986 in Portland, Oregon as an appellate lawyer before transitioning to bankruptcy and commercial law in Reno starting in 1988. In 2002, she was certified as a Business Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification and has been recognized as one in the state of Nevada since.
In 2014, Lee began practicing with attorney Elizabeth Fletcher, and in 2015 they launched the Reno firm Lee High Ltd., which earlier this year was renamed to Fletcher & Lee. Lee earned her J.D. from Willamette College of Law in Salem, Oregon.
Since it was first published in 1983, the annual Best Lawyers list has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Best Lawyers lists are compiled “based on an exhaustive peer-review evaluation,” according to the directory’s website. Almost 87,000 industry leading lawyers are eligible to vote. The 2022 publication analyzed 8.3 million nominations; 62,000 lawyers were chosen.
