Rebecca Wagner has been named public information officer by the Nevada Public Utilities Commission.
Wagner, who will be based in Carson City, previously was director of regulatory and public affairs for Advanced Thermal Systems, a geothermal company in Reno.
She succeeds David Chairez, who has taken a position as a financial analyst with the regulatory operations staff of the PUC.
