Board disciplines two area contractors

Northridge Construction of Reno and All Star Tile of Sparks have been disciplined by the Nevada State Contractors Board.

Northridge was ordered to complete repairs on a construction job within 60 days after the board found it worked beyond the scope of its license and failed to comply with the terms of a contract.

All Star Tile was fined $600 and ordered to repair work for a homeowner after the board ruled it provided substandard workmanship and bid a job beyond the limit established in its license.

If All Star doesn't complete repairs and provide financial statements within 120 days, the board said it will revoke the company's license.
