YMCA officers, directors

Dan Coppa, retired undersheriff in Washoe County, has been named chairman and chief volunteer officer of YMCA of the Sierra for 2007.

Tim Rowe, a partner in McDonald Carano Wilson, will serve as chairman-elect, John Sande IV, an associate in Jones Vargas, will serve as treasurer and Randy Mellinger, assistant city manager of Sparks, will serve as immediate past chairman.

Newly elected directors are Jennifer Bushman of Kitchen Coach and Steve Boomer, the retired director of parks, recreation and community services for the City of Corona.
