Tribe begins work on Fernley development

General contractor Shaver Construction of Reno has broken ground on the Fallon Tribal Development Corporation's Fox Peak Station II development in Fernley.

Construction of the 6,000-square-foot convenience store, gas station and smoke shop should be completed in spring of 2009, says Lance Shumway, economic development assistant director for the Fallon Paiute-

Shoshone Tribe.

The tribe selected Dube Group Architects of Reno as the architectural firm and Lumos and Associates as the civil engineering firm for the project.
