When police served a search warrant at Lafrance's Wendy Circle apartment they allegedly found the place in "dangerous squalor."

"... trash was piled waist high," the report states, "The residence was full of flies and smelled heavily of trash ... I could see knives on the floor where any of the children could reach them."

Two of the children are living with their fathers, the eldest is now with Lafrance's mother, Lafrance's attorney said Tuesday.
