Carson City health inspections for Sept. 30, 2015

Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Sept. 30. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Carson City Municipal Golf Course, Eagle’s Landing, 3999 Centennial Park Drive, scored 100 points.

FISH Food Bank, 138 E. Long St., 100 points.

Denny’s, 2299 N. Carson St., 99 points. Spilled food oil was found on the concrete pad in the waste storage area.

Seven Eleven, 3838 E. Highway 50, 99 points. The floor sinks were dirty.

La Posada Real, Inc., 3205 Retail Drive, 98 points. The interior of the main ice machine was dirty.

Taqueria Uraupan, 4601 Goni Road, Suite A, 98 points. A reach-in refrigerator was missing a thermometer. The light bulbs in the grease hood over the grill were not shielded.

Roundabout Catering & Party Rentals, 2201 W. College Parkway, 96 points. There was no measurable chlorine residual in the cloth sanitizer bucket. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Donuts to Go, 1413 N. Carson St., 93 points. Shelves and ventilation screens were dirty. Both bathrooms were missing self-closing doors. A certified food handler was not on duty.

Sassafras, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, 92 points. Potato salad, coleslaw and guacamole were found with an internal temperature above 65 degrees. There was no measurable chlorine residual in the sanitizer cloth storage bucket, which was dirty, corrected on site. The main ice machine was dirty.
