Law requiring new license plates is ridiculous

My goodness. How much government do we want in our lives?

If a law enforcement officer sees a license plate that can’t be read or obscured, he or she should just do their job. Pull them over and give them a “fix it” ticket that has a relatively short life before a fine would set in.

Why does every Nevadan need to go get new license plates every eight years (and, of course, pay money)? That is an imposition on many that can’t maneuver all that well.

How many bad license plates do you see? I see more that have a shaded overlay over them that should not be permitted.

Many folks have had their license plates for many years and they can be a source of pride. Leave it alone.
