Susan Mayes-Smith

Susan Mayes-Smith has been named manager of educational services for KNPB, a Public Broadcasting Service member in Reno, effective March 15.

Mayes-Smith, who has more than 30 years experience in education, both as a teacher and administrator, most recently was the principal of TMCC High School. She also planned the Washoe County School District’s Opportunity School; an alternative high school for troubled youth and was executive director for the Lear Theater from 2001 to 2004.
