Reno-based construction company John Anderson Construction announced this month the addition of three new team members: Nick Christensen as President; Raymond Zavalla as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; and Dave Simko as Director of Operations.
Nick Christensen
Christensen joins John Anderson Construction after more than 3 years serving as a Senior Project Manager at United Construction in Reno, according to a June 15 press release. Over the years, Christensen has built and managed several million square feet of commercial buildings, valued at more than $300 million, in Northern Nevada and California.
Dave Simko
Simko previously served as Field Operations Manager at United for three years. In his new role, Simko will ensure the training and progression of the field team and ensure the highest safety protocols are adhered to throughout the company.
Zavalla previously served for 8 years as a Business Development Manager at United. Zavalla graduated from Pennsylvania State University and earned a master’s degree from George Washington University. He currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
