Immunize Nevada recently welcomed three new team members: Marissa Medeiros was hired as community manager; Aaliyah Goodie joins as a COVID-19 vaccine project manager, and David Perez has rejoined the statewide nonprofit as public affairs and community engagement manager, according to an April 28 press release.

“We’re excited to welcome Marissa and Aaliyah and to welcome back David to our growing team during this critical time in our history,” Heidi Parker, executive director of Immunize Nevada, said in a statement. “We’re very proud to continue building a team of talented public health professionals who are committed to educating Nevadans about immunizations and providing resources when and where they’re needed.”

Before joining Immunize Nevada, Medeiros served as the account, traffic and production supervisor for the Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Reno, where she oversaw multiple projects while building key relationships with clients and vendors. She brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, administration and event planning to her new role.
