People: Rick Kohler named Plumas Bank vice president/business adviser and branch manager in Carson City

Plumas Bank has announced two staffing changes at its Carson City location. Chris Slothower has retired, and Rick Kohler has joined the team as the new vice president/business adviser and branch manager.

Slothower was with the Plumas Bank Carson City branch since 2018 and is being celebrated for her 30-year career in financial services.

Kohler will lead branch and business services for the Carson City location. Kohler has 23 years of experience in banking and financial services and brings deep ties to the Carson City community. He currently serves on the Western Nevada College Foundation Board and Friends of Nevada State Railroad Museum Board.

Kohler joins Ty Nebe, senior vice president ag/commercial loan officer and the Carson branch team to serve clients in Carson City and surrounding areas.
