AGC officers, directors

Mike Cate, co-owner of Pavers Plus Inc., has been named president of the Nevada Chapter of Associated General Contractors.

Other officers of the organization include Joe Serpa of Q&D Construction Co., first vice president; Frank Lepori of Frank Lepori Construction, second vice president; and Fred Reeder of Reno Tahoe Construction, treasurer.

Directors of the group this year will include Dave Backman of K. G. Walters Construction Co., Bill Balsi of Valley Concrete Co. Inc., Justin Ivory of A-1 Steel, Scott Hiatt of A& K Earthmovers, Matt Frazer of PAR Electric Contractors, Craig Holt of Sierra Nevada Construction, David Knaub of K7 Construction Inc., Eric Scolari of RHP Mechanical, Kevin Weiske of Moody-Weiske Contractors, Sherri Key of Lindell's Painting, Brien McKenzie of McKenzie Construction, Inc.

The AGC's national directors for 2008 are Piero Bullentini of Martin Iron Works, Rod Cooper of Granite Construction, Mike Scolari of RHP Mechanical, Deane Shaver of Shaver Construction Inc., B.J. Sullivan of Clark & Sullivan Constructors and Craig Willcut of United Construction.
